Dear parents,
The integration of the Ukrainian children into the social and school environment truly matters to us and play is such an efficient and creative educational tool that goes beyond the barriers of language differences. For this reason, starting on Monday, 14 March 2022, Filadelfia Theoretical High School is trying to bring a shred of normality into the havoc the refugee children are living in now. Therefore, we have put all effort into creating a familiar space for them through imagination and attention games, and a variety of interactive and creative activities so as to ensure integration and education for children of all ages...There is no doubt they are tired of constantly seeing the grownups' worried faces. They yearn for the life they had had before the war, feeling the need to be surrounded by their whole family, relatives, friends, or at least by good-hearted people.
In this context, it happens that we are being asked:" "How can we help?" And we are aware that a long-term approach is needed. Since Monday, 14 March, 80 Ukrainian children have benefited from educational activities organized by the LTF every day between 3 and 6 PM, which represented a great opportunity to encourage them. A major advantage comes from our teachers who speak Ukrainian or Russian in addition to the Romanian language.
